One of the many advantages of the Ticket Tailor system over the previous Future Ticketing one is the ability of anybody with their app on their phone to scan and check-in visitors.
To get the app, visit your usual App Store for your phone and look for the Ticket Tailor Check-In App which looks like this:
To use the app you need an account which I have to set up at my end. When I do this the system sends you an email with a login link.
You need to have the app installed before this link will work.
Clicking on the link in your email client will log you in to the app automatically, once it has asked you for permission to do so. If this works for you then you are ready to go - jump to the next section.
If this link does not work for you, please email me at press@midlandspointing.com and I will send you your log in password for the app so that you can log in the conventional way.
Once you are logged in to the app you may have to select an event. If your user account is only set up to use at one event it might not ask you.
Once you have done this you are ready to go.
The middle button at the bottom of the app is the scanner button which allows you to use your phone's own camera to scan the QR codes on tickets.
The right-hand button provides an up-to-date door list which gives you another way to check someone has paid if they cannot produce their ticket.
As always, it is very important to get cars in and off the road so if you are struggling, please just check the event and date on the ticket then let them in.
